Welcome back for another round of fun! Did you guys have fun with the glitter challenge last week? It's time for another challenge and we're creating with Stripes.

We have three amazing sponsors this week:

Winner's Choice of 5 Digis

A "Toodle Club Membership" and a free Toodle Birthday Calendar.

This week I played with an image from Stamping Boutique.  I love those cute kites and that happy rainbow. They reminds me when I was a child and used to go to El Morro with my family to fly kites.
Those where happy times, life was so simple ;)

Hope you have a great day!!!

Hugs,

MAKE IT MONDAY #62 LAYERING

Hi!!

This is a quick post to share these cards I made for this week Make it Monday challenge.  I have to admit I love layers, although lately I am embracing the one layer cards.  They are super fast and easy to make, perfect for card sets.

My first card was of course the one layer one.  I have to admit I don't like much how it turned out, still I am showing because it's part of the whole deal ;)

Then, I  created a second one using the same stamp set but this time I added layers and buttons.  I love how this second one turned out.

I absolutely love this second one, but I will keep practicing the one layer cards.
Hope you have a great day!!

LAWNSCAPING CHALLENGE STAMP A SCENE

Today’s challenge at Lawnscaping was all about making a scene.  Since I was short of time but still wanted to play, I went for a mini scene simple card.

In the photo you cannot appreciate it, but I sponged a cloudy sky in the background of the frame.  Then I masked the frame and stamped the Ferries Wheel.  I colored the wheel with Prisma Color pencils and the frame with water based markers.

Here are more views of my card:

I love scenes cards.  I may make another one for this challenge ;)
Anyway, for today this is all I can come up.

Thanks for the visit!!!

PRETTY LITTLE HOUSES

Hola!!  /  Hi!!

Today I want to share with you two very cute Little houses.  I have some files of houses and windows from SVG Cuts and since window scenes are being use a lot these days this motivated me to use my files and create my own.

I am submitting them to the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp and show-anything goes challenge.
Truly Madly Crafty Challenges Blog

For the first card I used the Peony Cottage SVG collection.  This card is one of the projects on the set and I really love how it turned out.  The paper I used is from a very old collection from Scenic Route.  I don’t know you, but I have a lot of papers here and this year I am going to make a lot of 3D projects to use them.  It’s time to make space for new collections ;)

For the second card I used the sets Strawberry   Lane for the tree, Townhouse Window and the grass is from Easter Morning Egg hunt.

 For the curtains I used my Prismacolor pencils to add shadow and movement and the little bird is from TAWS - Crazy Critters.  The flowers are from a Martha Stewart punch.

 I hope you have a great day and thanks for the visit.

Hugs,

BE INSPIRED JUST BECAUSE

Hi!!

I have two cards to share today using The Alle Way stamps.

Today I finally finished a simple card I started last weekend for the Be Inspired challenge at The Alley Way Stamps blog.  The color combo was a real challenge for me ;)

For the main image I used one of the cupcake images from the Hey Cupcake set to make the crystal bowl.  I stamped the cherries and applied a coat of Distress Rock Candy crackle paint to give a real effect to the glass bowl.  The sentiment is from the Talk To Me set.

I decided to use some of my yummy Vellum for the card strips.  For those, I embossed one with a polka dot stamp and white powder and the other two using an embossing folder.  Then I sponge some Shabby Shutters distress ink to add color to the vellum.

Then Just Because, I combined two of my passions and two of my favorite shops to make a card.  I used my beloved KNK Maxx to cut a card from the Everyday Cards collection from SVG Cuts.  I used an BG 6x6 paper card to cut the different elements of the card.

I love the bee from the Priceless Joy set so I decided to use that image for my card.  I also added some grass and flowers from the Crazy Critters set.

I made the green background paper using acrylic paint in green and white.

I hope you like my cards and be inspired to create a card and participate in the Be Inspired challenge.  I'm sure you will love some of the freebies Alison has.

Hope you have a great Sunday night!!

Hugs,
