Montañas de Amor ;) Loads of Love
Hi!!
Today I took the day off at work to run some errands we had pending. Since I arrived early at home, I decided to make a card for Miguel, my hubbie. He has been working very hard including the weekends for the last months trying to catch up in the economical aspect of our lives. We all know that the economy is not at is best right now, and we had our share of it. Still, I am grateful to God because He always has provided us the necessary and a little more to enjoy what we love to do. The card was made to show my appreciation for his effort and to let him know that I am grateful for his sacrifice and what he is doing for us.
Since I liked so much Beate's sketch for this weekend challenge, I decided to use it for the card. I hope you like it!!!

SU Cardstock Not Quite Navy
Watercolor paper
Loads of Love Stamp Set
Loads of Love Accesories Stamp Set

GRACIAS ME HACIA FALTA ;) THANKS I NEEDED THAT
Hi!!
I made today this card for Beate's Weekend Challenge. I like this challenge because is a great way to build a card bank and that way always have a card at hand when needed. I intend to participate in this challenge from now on and therefore never be caught without a card when I need it.
I am excited because also is the first card I made using the SU products from my Demo Kit. I joined the SU Family about two weeks ago and was waiting for the products to arrive. I like a lot this line, the stamps are very pretty and they have tons of great embellishments. Also, the cardstock is great for card making.
La receta / The recipe:
Fun & Fast Notes Stamp Set
Define your Life Stamp Set
Sprinkles Stamp Set
SU Cardstock Creamy Caramel
Scraps of blue & green Bazzil cardstock
Watercolor paper
BG paper Mellow Collection
Stazon Timber Brown
Watercolor crayons
Well, see you later!! Now I'm going to organize my things to start a new week.

CARTERITA CON BOLSILLOS ;) POCKET PURSE
One of the reasons I didn't wrote for an entire week is that I was working on my version of the Carousel Notes Purse Project that Patty published on her blog. I fell in love with this project the moment I saw it, and since I didn't had the Carousel Notes from SU! I made my own envelopes with the help of my Cricut (of course!!!). Thanks Patty for sharing this great project!! I had lots of fun stamping and sewing. Now I have to find the perfect photos and display it in my home. I still have not finished the front because I don't have the magnets. I already ordered them to Scrappers Place so it's only a matter of days before my Bag is finished and on display ;))

Vamos...quiero detalles!!!

Now, for the rules:
1) You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language. 2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone. 3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself. 4) Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte y Pico" blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award. 5) To show these rules.
Mis cinco ganadoras son ;) And my award winners are.....
Jessica
Yamil
Marirose
Latisha
Chrissy
Bye!!!
Hola ;) Hello
I made this card for a Challenge my friend Marirose sent to SB Friends. You can see the challenge in here. I liked it a lot, because the envy has two pockets in which you can place a card and a tag as I did in mine.

Thank you cards
My mom asked me to make her a card for two friends who helped her with my brother's wedding. Each time a member of my family needs a card they just call me and asked for a personalized card. This is great for them and for me too because it gives me hours of fun just surfing through the internet and magazines searching for ideas to create a great card.
For this one I used the Chai Latte mini set from Inque Boutique. Also the Alpha Chic acrylic stamp set from Fancy Pants. The paper is Pumpernickel from American Craft A la Carte Collection. I bought all this nice stuff from my friend Rebeca at Scrapper's Place.
Well, now is time to finish the laundry and all the preparations for a new week full of work. The best part is the after work happy hours here at my SB room. See you soon!!!!
Una nueva vida ;) A new life
My internet was down for two weeks so you can imagine I was desperate to get if fixed so I could see all the wonderful things you are doing. At last I will be able to visit all of you leaving my comments. I like to thank you for all the comments you left on my blog. Each one of it is very important for me and reassures me that this hobby is about family and friendship.
My sister asked me to do a card for her frien'd baby shower. Here is the card I made for her. I used the Cricut and the Design Studio and combined images from A walk in my Garden, New Arrival and George. I used Bazzil for the cream base and DCWV for the rest. Hope you like it.
