Hola!!

Al fin ya estoy regresando a la faena luego de la refriega navideña. Para ir calentando motores, aqui les comparto un lay out que hice en estos días. Como de costumbre, me tomó tres días hacerlo, en verdad que soy bien lenta trabajando el scrapbook. Pero lo importnte es que el resultado me gustó.

Estoy preparando mi primer tutorial así que pendientes porque próximamente viene algo por ahi.

At last I am returning to my "paper duties" after the Christmas season. To start, I made this lay out which took me three days to complete :() I am a very...extremely slow scrapbooker. Anyway, the important thing is that I love the results.

As part of my new year's resolutions, I am in the process of making my first tutorial. Soon I will be posting it.

St Marteen....Ahhhh!!!

Al fin comenzé a hacer LO's de nuevo!! Llevaba un buen tiempo sin hacer SB ya que me había dedicado más a hacer tarjetas. Me frustraba que me tomara tanto tiempo hacer una sola página que simplemente lo dejé. Por lo general soy bien perfeccionista y me gustan los detalles...ahh!! Y no hablemos de las terminaciones. Por lo que un solo LO me toma prácticamente una semana. Pero, decidí que me tome lo que me tome, este año se lo voy a dedicar a mis álbumes. Probablemente no podamos viajar este año, así que me voy en un viaje con mis recuerdos.
¿Que mejor manera que haciendo mis páginas???

A mi me encanta la isla de St Marteen. He ido más veces de las que puedo recordar y cada viaje es una aventura nueva y siempre descubrimos algo. En el 2005 fuimos por un día mientras disfrutábamos de un viaje en el crucero Adventurer of the Seas. Hace tiempo quería conseguir unas amapolas que me gustaran para hacer un LO con la foto que nos tomamos en el puerto al llegar. Gracias a SCAL, al fin encontré lo que buscaba y al fin hice estas dos páginas. La foto no es muy buena, luego cuando revele las fotos y se las coloque trato de tomar unas fotos mejores y las posteo. Ahora no tengo mucho tiempo pues me debo poner a terminar la limpieza y a lavar dos tandas de ropa que me faltan. Arrghh!! Yo solo quiero estar escrapbuqueando, odio que el deber me llame jajaja!!!


I started scrapbooking again!! It has been a while since I stopped and dedicated my time to card making. Mainly it was because I was frustrated by the fact that a single LO usually takes me almost a week to complete. Being a perfectionist who loves details, and the fact that I am still a rookie in this hobby, you can image every LO is a struggle for me. Still, I decided this year I am going to overcome my frustration and I am going to scrap a lot!! I doubt my hubby and I are going to be able to travel this year, so I decided to make a trip down memory lane, what better way to do it than scrapbooking all those photos??

I Love the island of St Marten. I have been there more times than I can recall and every trip has been full of adventure and lots of fun. On 2005 we went for one day while we were on a cruise in The Adventurer of the Seas. I have been looking for some time for a Hibiscus flower I like to use in a LO for a photo taken at the pier when we disembarked. Thanks to SCAL, I found a font and a ding bat that made the job perfectly. The photo of the LO is not very good, I promise to take a better pic when I have the photos developed and placed in the LO. Right now I am off to finish cleaning the house and doing the laundry. I hate when my duties interfere with my hobby LOL!!!
