My card this week was made using some Melonheadz images.  I combined a few images and then sponged the background to create an under the sea scene.  While I was making my card I realized I am out of practice with my sponging.  I need to work a few projects with it to get used with the technique again. 

 It's funny how we have all the techniques in our heads but if we don't practice there's no way our hands can do as told LOL!  Here is my card.

I am using the stamp Fuzzy Owl from Meljen's Designs.  Love this chubby OWL!  This week I went hybrid!!!  The base of the card was made with a digital paper from the Basic Grey collection Phoebe.  I printed the card base with the background paper and the full image  of the owl and the tree. Then I colored the tree, leaves and flowers, pieced them and finally Incorporated them to my card using mounting tape.  Finally I hand stitched a border using orange floss.

My card this week was made using the Flowers set from Inspired Stamps.  I loved how I was able to make a 3D flower using one of the images from the set.  I stamped the flower 4 times in two different shades of pink paper. Then I paper pieced the flowers and also make slits on some of the petals.  Glued all the flowers together alternating colors and my 3D flower was finished.
