LIFE...

Hi,

Today I finally found the other project I made using a Raindrop Echo Designs digital Stamp.  For this project I used one of the stamps in the Inspirational Sentiments set.  This is a hybrid project since the background is a digital paper that I printed with only a portion of the quote.  I also used the stamp to make a digital cut file.

For the background I stamped some doilies with a Maya Road stamp and use some home made glimmer mist to add shine.  On the parts I cut using my Cricut (the flower and two of the words) I used glossy accents to add more dimension.

I really love to find different uses for my digital stamps.  I think they are extremely versatile and with a little imagination you can create something really nice.  I still need to mat this quote and it will be placed on a frame.  Don't worry. I will take a pic of it and share it with you ;)

She Celebrates Life

Hi Friends,
I just got from a crop birthday of one of my friends.  We had a great time laughing and making cards, What better way to spend a day with your friends?

This is the card I made my friend.  The image is the digital stamp Rosie Frames #2 from Dilli Beans Stamps.  I discovered this store yesterday browsing blogs and was instantly in love with this framed girls.

To paint it I used distress inks, watercolor pencils, India ink and a fine line pen.

I didn't use any embellishment on the card since I love so much the image I wanted it to stand alone.  Here you have a full view of the card.  For sure, I will be buying these girls since I love them and they looks perfect for mixed media projects.

Enjoy what's left of your Sunday.  I am going to take a little nap and then prepare my thing for a new week full of challenges and not so fun things to do ;)

DYSY #45 INSPIRED BY SONG

Hi everyone! Welcome back to a new challenge here at Do You Stack Up?! With the holidays just around the corner, I love using music to set the mood. So, this week, we want your projects to be Inspired by a Song! Please be sure to let us know in your post what your song is. ;)

Sponsors:

Di’s Digi Downloads Winner’s Choice of 5 Digis

JLJ Designs $10 Gift Certificate

Hi!,

My card for today is based THE VIDEO from British got talent where Susan Boyle auditioned with the song I dreamed a dream from Les Miserable.   There is a quote of C.S. Lewis I love that says “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream”.  Dreams are a wonderful part of  my life.  They are the force that keeps me going and fighting.  Some of my dreams have become a reality and others has been shattered along the way, always with a purpose and always because God had something better for me.

So today I show you this piece I made which will be framed and displayed at my home as a reminder that even when I reach a dream, I need to find another one just to keep going.

Thanks for the visit and have a great day!!

Christmas Pop Up Card Tutorial and Giveaway

Hi!!

Do It Yourself or Not.

Welcome to my blog!!  Here are more detailed pictures of my finished project from the tutorial at Do It Yourself or not.  I love these Pop Up cards!!  And I hope that you can make your own.

Para esta tarjeta usé una imagen digital de Stretch and Bubbles llamada Trees with bird.  /  For this card I used the digital stamps Trees with Birds from Stretch and Bubbles.

Here is the card front, I used the image and stamped a few words on the background.  I wanted the image to be the focus of the card so I made it bid and decorated it with tons of doodling and fun techniques.

 Alyson, the owner of S&B has been so kind to sponsor my first tutorial.  I will be giving away the digital stamp used for this card to 4 random winners that are my followers and leave a comment on this entry.
Also, for those who try the card and leave me a comment with the link, I will be giving drawing this card which will include a matching envelope ;)  You have until October 31 to leave your comment and participate in the drawing.

And here the card interior.  For the tutorial, please visit the Do itYourself or not Blog.

I hope you like my card and that you try the tutorial.  I would love to see a photo of your card if you decide to make it, so leave me a link to the photo ;).  Don’t forget to subscribe and comment in order to participate in the drawing.
