MIGUEL'S PLAYGROUND

Hola!

Hi!!

I don’t have any card to show today today.  Instead, I want to share with you my DH playground.  This is the reason why he doesn’t complaint about how much I spend in papers and stamps LOL!  He knows better!!  His room is just besides mine, so we spend hours in our rooms but keeping each other company.

Enjoy the tour!!

Sus Carros (Son 16 en total!!) / His cars... a total of 16!!

Las áreas de trabajo / His working areas:

Area de almacenamiento y piezas de reemplazo  / Storage and spare parts area:

Sus trofeos / His awards:

Ahora me voy a dedicar a recoger mi taller pues necesito trabajar en las tarjetas de las próximas semanas para el DT.  Espero que tengan un buen día!!

And now I will start Cleaning my Studio since I have to start working on the DT cards for the next weeks.  Have a great day!!

Que Dios las bendiga y muchas felicidades!!

Hey everyone! Welcome to a new challenge at Do You Stack Up?! This week we want to see your Stripes!

This week Sponsors:

The Craft’s Meow Winner’s Choice of 1 Stamp Set

For this wee I used the set Fruity for You from The Cat's Meow.  It has also Pears and great sentiments.  Watch out because I will be posting more cards using this fabulous set.  For today, I have a set of mini cards.  I stamped the image several times in different colors and paper piece them to get a multicolored fruit.

I am hooked with these mini sets and made several of them as Christmas presents for my friends and family.

Hope you have a great day!!!

Joan

Hi,

Today will be a short post since I am heading for work.  This week I worked with the Digi Winnie from Saturated Canary.  I used an old tree digital stamp as part of the background, can't remember where I got it from.  Sorry for the picture, I don't know why my camera doesn't liked this card and there was no way I could get a good image.

Here is my card:

Hope you have a great day!!

LIFE...

Hi,

Today I finally found the other project I made using a Raindrop Echo Designs digital Stamp.  For this project I used one of the stamps in the Inspirational Sentiments set.  This is a hybrid project since the background is a digital paper that I printed with only a portion of the quote.  I also used the stamp to make a digital cut file.

For the background I stamped some doilies with a Maya Road stamp and use some home made glimmer mist to add shine.  On the parts I cut using my Cricut (the flower and two of the words) I used glossy accents to add more dimension.

I really love to find different uses for my digital stamps.  I think they are extremely versatile and with a little imagination you can create something really nice.  I still need to mat this quote and it will be placed on a frame.  Don't worry. I will take a pic of it and share it with you ;)

CHRISTMAS STAR BOX

Hi!!

Before I start cleaning my apartment I want to share a box I made back on April for a Paper Crafts magazine call.  It was rejected but I love it, that's for sure.  To make it I used the Vintage Paper Rosettes SVG Kit from SVG Cuts file.

I also used the Paper Trey Ink stamp set Tree Trimming Trio with the matching die to cut the tree.  The DP Paper Collection is from Making Memories.  I love the colors and the vintage feeling of these papers!!

For the bow, I used a ribbon from Stampin Up I really love...  My God!  Isn't that a lovely ribbon??  I love how how this bow turned out, just perfect for the box ;)  I also used two pearl trinkets from Maya Road and a wood heart I bought at a local craft store.

You know that I love my projects to be perfectly finished so I cut two stars slightly smaller than the box size, stamped them and cover the inside of the box.  This not only adds a finish touch but gives the box more stability.

Here is the box.

Thanks for your visit and sweet comments.  Hope you have a great day and I will be back tomorrow with another Christmas project ;)

Off to clean the house yikes!!!

Besitos,
Joan

Hey everyone! Welcome back to a new challenge at Do You Stack Up?! I'm so glad you could join us! This week we want to see a Splash of Blue on your project!

Our Sponsors:

Mami Doodles 4 Digital Images

Robyn’s Fetish Winner’s Choice of EITHER 5 digital stamps OR 4 digital stamps and 1 paper pack

Raindrop Echo Designs Winner’s Choice of 4 Digi Sentiment Sets

For my card I used a digital stamp from Raindrop Echo Design Christmas Sentiments.  Love that set!!  I added some sparkle to the sentiment but for some reason my camera is not working properly and this is the best pic I could get.

The trees are stitched you know I love stitching!!.

I couldn't resist the urge to play a little more with another set from Raindrop Echo Design.  I will have to show you the project I made later since shame to meeeee I could't find it :(

Here are a few pics of my working area, Can you see how much fun I have been having lately?

And here is a photo of my assistant Merengue.  She only helps in making the mess bigger :(  But God, she loves to chew stamps :(  Crazy cat!!

Have a great day and hope to see you playing with us this week.

Joan
