Inolvidable ;) Unforgettable

Para bien o para mal, cada amor de nuestras vidas es inolvidable. Cada uno ofrece unas experiencias que atesoramos ya sea como enseñanzas o como recuerdos gratos de vivencias que aunque no perduraron para siempre nos provocan una sonrisa cada vez que regresa ese recuerdo. Mientras hacía esta tarjetita, recordaba la canción Unforgettable compuesta por Irving Gordon allá para el 1951. La interpretación más famosa de la canción es la de Nat King Cole en el mismo año 1951. 40 años después de esa grabación (1992) y luego que el partiera de este mundo se editó la misma para crear un duo con su hija Natalie. Esa nueva grabación se ganó tres Grammy. Para ver el video de la canción oprime aqui.

¿Qué yo entiendo de eso??? Que el amor siempre perdura y que los seres humanos tenemos la misma necesidad de amar y ser amados, en tiempos pasados como en el presente y así será por siempre. Que no importa cuan mal el mundo pueda estar, aun quedamos personas que creemos en el amor y somos nosotros los que mantenemos encendida la llama de la esperanza.

Bueno, ya basta!!! Ahora a la tarjetita. Definitivamente esta no se la enseñe a mi esposo porque es la que le hice para Valentines. Usé el set Have a Heart de SU el cual compré usado por E-Bay. El tag con el corazón los corté con la Cricut combinando dos cortes de George y uno de Fabulous Finds. El papel que usé fue todo retazos de cardstock y papeles así que no tengo muchos detalles ahí.

Weather we like it or not, each love in our life is unforgettable. Each one has contributed a unique experience. Call it a learning experience or a great memory that although didn't last forever each time we remember it we can't do nothing but smile. As I was making this card I remembered the song Unforgettable written by Irving Gordon on 1951. The most popular version of the song was recorded by Nat King Cole on that same year. This only shows me that true love is stronger than anything we can think of. That people needs to love and be loved and that this need does not have an expiration date. It shows that no matter how bad things can be love helps us keep the light of hope shinning.

Ok, now back to my card. I am definitely not going to show this one to my DH because is the one I'm going to give him on valentines. I used the SU stamp set Have a Heart which I bought used on E-bay. I used scraps of paper and c.s. therefore I can't give much detail there. The heart tag was cut with my cricut. I combined two cuts from George and one from Fabulous Finds.
