AUTUMN PAPER LANTERN

Hello!!

Since I spent my weekend making cards, this week I am making home decor for the holidays.  Yesterday was the turn for this great paper lantern.
This is one of the projects included in the set Crisp Days of Fall from SVG Cuts.
Here is a skeak of the full set:

The moment I saw that lantern I fell in love with it.  I am making a bunch of these as part of my thanksgiving dinner decoration.  Note to self:...."I need to buy some wire to finish my lamps".

Anyway, I decided to add some gold embossing powder to the flourish because I wanted it to look as it was metal.  I sed a chunky glitter from Stampendous and I love the way it looks kind of aged.

Next I added some twine, leaves and of course a button.

And here is my gorgeous lantern:

This is how I am going to light it.  That's a led tea light candle.  They are perfect for this type of project and I love the fact that they flicker.

Just imagine them at night decorating your patio.

Pure bliss!!!

Hope you have a great day and thanks for the visit!!!
